Evo-Geno-Disease

Our lab has broad interests in ecological and evolutionary genomics. Our research focuses on two main topics: structural variation (SV) and gene tree discordance (GTD). We combine experimental and computational approaches to investigate genome architectures of SV and GTD in corals and primates. We aim to understand how those architectures are associated with the origins of human genetic diseases and the adaptive evolution of corals and primates.
